Live Edge
Our live edge products are made from kiln dried Basswood, which are carefully dried to retain the natural bark. Basswood is well known for carving and wood burning but provides the ideal surface for laser burning, sign making and painting. The thicker planks and rounds are ideal for rustic bases for lamps or taxidermy mounts. We offer two grades, Premium, which is almost free of natural defects such as knots and stains and a Rustic quality that has more of the natural characteristics. The Rustic pieces can be painted or decorated with mixed media techniques.
